Village Statement Regarding Polaris Announcement in Osceola

The Village of Osceola has been informed by Polaris that it intends to close its Osceola manufacturing facility in 2027. This decision is expected to impact approximately 230 employees at the facility.

This announcement is still very new, and at this time the Village does not have additional details regarding the future use of the building, the property, or what other changes may occur at the site. As more information becomes available, the Village will share updates with the community.

We recognize that this news is difficult for the affected employees, their families, and the broader Osceola community. The Village is committed to supporting impacted workers and helping connect them with available resources.

Below is a link to a letter from U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin that outlines state-level resources available to impacted employees, including workforce assistance programs and contact information for additional support.

Village staff will continue to monitor the situation closely and work with state, regional, and local partners to better understand next steps and future opportunities. We appreciate the community’s patience as we learn more and remain focused on supporting those affected by this announcement.

Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.
