
The Fire Department promotes life safety for all citizens through education, code enforcement, emergency rescue services, and non-emergency support services. The Osceola Fire Department serves the Village of Osceola and the Town of Farmington.
The volunteer department is headed by Chief Paul Elfstrom.
The Fire Department annually inspects all commercial buildings for compliance with the State Fire Code. The fire suppression services provided by the Osceola Fire Department have an ISO rating of 5 which places the department in the top 25% of all departments in the country.

BURN BAN
NO BURNING BAN AT THIS TIME.
The Village of Osceola prohibits open burning within the village limits. No person is allowed to burn rubbish, garbage, other household waste or hazardous materials. Chapter 168-16 of Village Code details the ban on open burning and the instances open burning is permitted.
